🌹 LEST WE FORGET 🙏 Today we reflect upon past and present service personnel. We pause to remember the bravery, sacrifice and spirit of men and women who served and continue to serve for our great nation. 🇦🇺 We remember those who gave their lives for the freedoms we hold today, and we stand in solemn reflection and gratitude - Lest we forget. ❤️ A special thank you to our staff and student leaders who attended this morning’s Dawn Service at St Marys RSL Sub Branch.

It is with a heavy heart that we join the global Catholic community in mourning the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis. 🙏 His life was a testament to compassion, humility, and unwavering faith. In the words of Bishop Vincent Long, “Pope Francis showed the rest of us how to find God’s love and how to show God’s love. He will forever be remembered as a champion of peace and humanity.” 🤍 May he rest in eternal peace in the arms of our Lord. 🕊️

✝️ EASTER SUNDAY 🙏 Today, we celebrate Jesus’ resurrection - He has risen! 💛 Jesus’ resurrection represents hope and new life symbolising the triumph over death and the promise of a new life in Christ. “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him’” - Matthew 28:5-7.

✝️ GOOD FRIDAY 🙏 Today, Jesus suffered on the cross to save us from our sins. Good Friday reminds us of Jesus’ sacrifice who progressed through 14 stations of the cross and laid down His life to give us a new beginning. ☀️ “It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last” - Luke 23:44-46.

Students across our College participated in Caritas Australia’s Long Walk for Water initiative last week! 💧🚶 The five-kilometre walk saw students carrying buckets of ‘water’ to experience, in part, the daily challenge faced by people in developing communities who walk long distances to access clean water. Reflecting on ‘living laudato si,’ the initiative reflects Pope Francis’ call to care for both people and our planet in our quest to help bring awareness to the problems that threaten our society. 🙏 Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese

✝️ PALM SUNDAY 🙏 Today commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Palm branches symbolise the crowd’s welcoming gesture as Jesus rode into the city on a donkey. 🌴 Today, we reflect on Jesus’ sacrificial love and the profound significance of Holy Week. 📿 “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest heaven! Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts” - Mark 11:10-11.
